Requires Flash Player, Sorry !! Hey since you don't have Flash Installed, or its not working, I have a simple menu on Right, Click the words in Red to see more

This page contains hacked form of Roy Tanck's WP cumulus cloud, meant to be used for Tags of a Blog.

The background "Sunlight" (signifying the name "Aaditya Prakash"), is a Sepia mirror image of this image (ofcourse little of photoshop doesn't hurt).

The box you are reading this into is a div tag with the background and a border (created in Photoshop CS3), with little of Javascript rendering.
The heading of the box is made in Microsoft Word , Word Art, Font "Pristina" with greyscale coloring.

*Please excuse the Design (esp: color selection), being on the Technical Side, my creative side is worse than Lindsay Lohan's acting.

The university where I did undergrad (Btech Biomedical). Certainly not among the best univs and by the number of student it takes in (without any merit) it can't strive to be one.
Though the courses were never completed, it's infrastructure questions the credibility of AICTE and NAAC, lecturers don't have confidence to speak (since it's their first job), but all these materialised into the perfect scenario (esp for me), where you are left to do it on your own. Lecturers never pull you to class (because they have nothing to teach) so you can be anywhere (classroom/lib/lab/home/park/canteen/theatre/beach), choice is yours. You are left free to wonder, free to your choice. This gave me time to do my own study (not necessarily related to course). But I must thank the college (a Deemed University) for providing oppurtunity to my first and current employer.

Even after reading all this if you are interested in the college or want to check the website then here you go, Bharath Univeristy

Though I am not a blogging junking but I feel blogs are simple and most effective way to share your thoughts. Especially when you don't have time to manage a site and all the related headache. It's a quick fix. I have quite a few blogs, some of the other links in this site will guide you to them.

Here I am giving you the link of my first blog Aaditya Programming for Humanity but let me warn you it hasn't been updated since 2007 and only 3 articles are for general read. One a small writeup on Poverty and hunger, one an inspirational talk and may be the most useful one is "How to make 28 hours a day" (If you are really busy and need more hours to accompalish more things than possible in 24) .

*Another warning, since I was quite young when I wrote those articles, it is not written in a mature way. Also the language could be little bombastic and slightly incoherent.

Books are the closest thing to my life. May be I could live with food and books alone. Nothing in this world is more enriching than books. But mind you here, I am no lover of fiction, never read one and won't until that's the only thing available to do.

Though initially I read books of all genres (Non-Fiction), incl. Arts and Music, and mostly Programming, Physics and Maths and Chess and little of Metaphysics and Religion, these days due to occupational requisite I read on Trading. I love books of Elder, my all time fav "Reminiscence of a Stock Operator", books of Thorp, Larry Williams, Linda, Douglas and some books related to Options, Algo Trading and development of Tradng Systems. If you need ebook version of any of the books on trading do let me know.

Download some of the my favorite trading books for free, here

Here is the link of my weRead, the books I have read, the ones I am reading and the ones I intend to read in the near future.

Not being higher on the athletic side my love to Chess is natural (or sometimes I think it is not the result but the cause, "Non Causa Pro Causa" ). Well anyways, trillion possibilities with 16 pieces in 64 squares, I bet that is something to stimulate the cerebra. Played Chess till where it was science of maths or say the logics of combinations. Every sport beyond certain limits becomes a piece of art and no more a sport. You must love and dedicate your life in order to achieve that level i.e paint like Picasso.

Year 1999, Place Wijk ank Jee, Gary Kasparov vs Veselin Topaliv, move #24 , wasn't that like Beethoven's 9th or Caprice 24 . Complete game here

Gary Kasparov (No. 1, 255 Months) has no comparison even in other sports may be closest is Tiger woods (never mind his philandering) or Michael Schumacher. Chess Players whose game I loved are Fisher, Kasparov, Anand and Alekhine.

I am a Karna Kayastha with last 2 generations domiciled in Nepal. Was born and brought up in Kathmandu by Meena Karna and Vinay karna along side Smriti Misal (Sis).

To know about Mithila culture and places, here's a nice link : Mithila

To learn how to write in Maithili (Mithilakshara) as most Maithils don't, here's a start Maithili Script
And if are wondering Maithili is just one of the least spoken languages in the world, here's an eye opener (check #40)

If you are a Kayastha or interested about it then you must read Kayastha and about the Lord Chitragupta

Forex By Aadi, is a website containing the minimal and only essential forex content. It was primarily developed for mobile browsing for your's truly. Till date this was a private site, but if any one of you finds it useful then you are most welcome to use.

Forex By Aadi [Quotes, Calendar, News, Sentiment, Charts, Links]

There are lot of very good forex webites, starting with ForexFactory, Action Forex, FxStreet and DailyFx but sometimes too much of information comes in between speed and accessibility. The need for ForexByAadi arose because of requirement of simple mobile friendly forex content, though Dukascopy's PDA version is a very good one it lacked few thing which I wanted.

*Kindly note I may not develop the site further (as keeping it minimal and essential is the motive) so do not expect any changes in future. If you have any input in forex trading or if you have your ownsite similar put it in the Notes page.

Greatest human being ever on the planet earth, there is no second guessing, it's the Mahan Atma (Great Soul), shortened to Mahatma, Gandhi and popularly called Bapu.

Einstien was so very right when he said "Generations to come will scarcely believe that person like Gandhi ever walked on earth in flesh and blood". Leave his radical ideas on politics, it's his unnerving confidence in Truth (Sathyagraha) and Non-voilence (Ahimsa) that is beyond ordinary. His ability of stand strong in face of adversity and still lead millions of people is a true sign of a leader. I will always be indebted to Tagore for bestowing title of Mahatma on him and government of India (albiet Congress party) for making Bapu the Father of the Nation.

I did a course on life and philosophy of Gandhi. This course had me to write few articles on Gandhi. I have made a compilation of these articles in the form of a blog.
If any one of you is interested in Gandhi, do check it out "Missing You Bapu"

One of the top IT companies in India and a CMMI level 5 company, a brainchild of a great man (NRN) & my employer Infosys stands for much more than a corporate house.
A world class training facility and great infrastructure no doubt makes it a dream company but now due to its greying founders, unmanageable crowd of cheap labour (read software engineers) and reckless spending on maintenance has made it "Loved by Outsiders, Hated by Insiders" (result of internal surveys are never revealed). Being an insider the mis-management & myopic focus is visible to me on a daily basis.

No matter what is said , it will always be one of the dream companies of millions of engineering students (who just wants to get a decent job, never mind a career).
On a personal level I will have to be grateful to the company, which I joined to write codes, had they given me the work which I wanted to do (write codes), I would have never found my love, Trading

Giving the Infoys link here is risky, as it can be traced back but still Infosys

Market Outlook is a weekly blog by your's truly. It is the Outlook of Indian Stock market on Fundamental and Technical scale in least words possible.

This blog resulted due to my friends constantly asking where the market is headed, should we invest or SOH. I couldn't refer them to any other blog or site or RSS feed as most of them were too detailed for a casual investor and sometimes too vague.

If you a trader in the Indian market or a casual investor, it may be of your interest. Although along with my market outlook I also mention some of the stocks that are faring well and most likely worthy of a short term investment, it is in no way a recommendation for Buy or Sell. I hate giving tips or calls. Most of the failed traders or non-performing brokers indulge in Stock Calls. Please do not ask me for any tips, calls or recommendations.

Market Outlook in least words possible. [Updated Weekly]

My homeland, my birthplace and source of all my culture and upbringing. Ever since June 1, 2001 it has been into turmoils, either extremists killing of civillians, corrupt politician and angry citizens.

But no one can take away from the fact that it is a beautiful country, Mountains like Everent, Kanchanjanga, Annapurna, Lhotse and Gaurishankar. Great perennial rivers like Bagamati (Sorry Bihar for the yearly floods), Karnali, Koshi and Gandaki, Great religous places like Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Krishna Mandir, Manakamana, Muktinath and then other tourists attractions like hiking, white water rafting and wild photography.

I wish politician were little less selfish and hypocrite. A poor country with GDP of 12.53 Billion USD and literacy rate below 58% this country needs an urgent fix else we may loose the great culture, 100s of dance forms, great food and deepely religous people.

Great People are always a great source of Inspiration. I have always loved people those who have displayed exemplary perseverance against adversity. People those who have acheived their success through hardwork alone have motivated me to work hard for they stand as an example that hardway always pays off.

If you have read the link on Gandhi, you probably already know that Gandhi is first person I admire, along with Gandhi, I also admire Mother Teresa, Thomas Edison and Bill Gates.

Infact I have a page where I have listed all the people I admire from all sphere's of life and the reason why I love them so much. I also believe if you tell anyone all the people you like the person will be able to figure out what kind of person you are. So if you want to figure out me here is the link , People I admire

PHSKNM, Parishramena Hi Sidyanti Karyani Na Manorathe [Only hardwork fetches success not the desire alone] has been my moto in life. I believe hardwork is the only means of achieve success. I have tried to teach this moto to all my students and friends.

PHSKNM is a part of Sanskrit Subhashitani (Moral Poetry) which completely reads ..

Parishramena Hi Sidyanti Karyani Na Manorathe,
Na He Suptasya Singhasya pravisanti Mukhe Mriga
(Second line: Deer doesn't come to lazy Lion just because Lion is King of the Jungle)

To get more clear definition and litle history behind it, go here PHSKNM

Aren't poems beautiful ? Few words which convey as much as you want to get from them. Though not a big fan of literature (Fiction) I have read few classics in poetry. During school days it was a one of the things I pursued actively and gradually as years went by I lost the interest (and the mindset).

I must admit, I have read poetry only in Nepali (my first language) and English (due to its reach and byproduct of studying in Eng Medium School). In Nepali, I love the works of Bhanubakht Acharya (Aadi Kavi), Lekhnath Poudel (Kavi Shriomani) and ofcourse Laxmi Prasad Devkota (Maha Kavi). In english, Coledridge, Nash, Vikram Seth, Williams have been quite a good read.

Well, I have compiled some of the poems which I wrote few years back. Now I am not very proud of them, as they seem quite immature (which was the case when I wrote them) now. Still if you would like to read them, here, Poems By Aaditya

Prakash Fund, is the NOT FOR PUBLIC investment/hedge Fund, where I accept fund from close friends only. But certainly I hope to make it open for public once I have time to deal with all the laws and regulations. Currently the Fund returns either the 50% of the profit made by the fund or 20% , which ever is higher. There is no maintenance fees. This kind of return (with guranteed 20%) is not heard of in the hedge fund world and certainly not capable of sustenance with large fund (which is the reason behind keeping it private)

My investment/trading philosophy has been higly influenced by William Eckhardt and David Shaw. I hope to move in Quats trading though currently I employ discretionary short term trading.

If you know me personally and want to invest in the Prakash Fund, contact me. If you see the link of Prakash Fund here, then probably I am ready to take public fund, if not then I am still closed.

Shawshank redemption, what a movie. Can a single movie be source of inspiration ? Yes it can.

This movie has taught me the 4 essential P's.
Perseverance - ability to face the adversity,
Perspiration - success isn't coming to you, until you sweat it out
Planning - (Long term) You must have a plan else you are just in Chaos and will never go anywhere
Patience - Not everything is gone/done in 60 seconds. You have to wait, sometimes years.

Surprisingly, I am not alone in admiring Shawshank Redemption, it is the Top (#1) Movie in IMDB list Top 250

Watch the Trailer , and if you liked it Download the Torrent

SunLight Softwares, is the umbrella under which I made some of the softwares. I will refrain from calling it a company, but it could be and certainly could have been if I hadn't switched from Programming to Trading.

The most common s/w under Sunlight Softwares has been Anagram Finder. It is one of the most common software downloaded for Anagrams (download.com) and I was able to sell quite a number of copies for a small amount ($8). But now I have realeased the Full version for Free (since I don't expect to support and release new versions of it).

Most of the softwares have arisen out of the need (personal/friend). Let me reiterate, none of the s/w was made for the purpose of selling or to appeal general public, but for personal usage. They are free for you to use and comes without any kind of warranty.

You can download all the softwares for free and even distribute them. I may or may not write other s/w in future, so until then enjoy with the programs at Sunlight Softwares

When I was doing Biomedical Engineering, we had a subject on Image processing. It entailed us to write software to do simple image processings like -

Edge detection (Prewitt, Sobel), Median Filtering, Average Filtering, Negative, Conversion of Image to Pixel, Conversion of Pixel to Image.

So I have written the simplest code possible for above given programs, though this was intended and used by my batchmates, I thought it could be useful to others. Thus I have uploaded the Source Code (VB 6.0), the Screenshot and the EXEs for you to see the code working.

Please use the code and experiment with it, but kindly do not ask me imporvements or doubts, I have come very far away from Image processing and Biomedical in general.
